The Constitution of GreeceThe Constitution of GreeceGreece, also known as the Hellas, is the birthplace of politics, arts, and democracy. Their ideas of democracy were the inspiration of the democratical system of some of the world’s superpowers such as the USA. The constitution of Greece nowadays was formed in the year 1975, defining their constitution as a parliamentary deomocracy, which is led by a president. Legislative power is held by a chamber parliament (known as the Vouli), and the executive power is mandated to the government and the president. Their prime minister has extended power, which regulates that government has to take trust from the government. Their law system is standalone, and civics and human rights are protected by the constitution. National election for 300 chairs in the parliament is held once every 4 years. Their president is elected by members of parliaments and they are on duty for a 5-year period, and they may only be elected once. The Greek flag: it is composed of 4 white horizontal lines and alternate 5 blue horizontal lines, with a white cross on the top left corner. Blue and white are the national colours of Greece. Education: the Greeks spend roughly 4.5% of their GDP for education. Everyone is required to study for at least 9 years, and education is free of charge.
